Quick Troubleshooting
App won't load content: Check your internet connection and pull down to refresh on any screen.
Not receiving notifications: Go to Settings > Notifications > Discretion Underground and make sure notifications are enabled.
Menu looks outdated: Pull down on the Menu tab to force a refresh from the server.
App crashes on launch: Delete and reinstall the app. Your favorites and notification history will be reset, but all content will reload from the server.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the Discretion Underground app is completely free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads.
The app requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad and Android are not currently supported.
No membership is required. Anyone can browse the menu, view events, and receive notifications. The membership section is for existing members to access their digital card and for interested guests to learn about membership options.
The only data sent to our server is your device's push notification token (if you opt in to notifications). Everything else — favorites, notification inbox, cached content — stays on your device. We don't collect personal information, location data, or analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The app will ask for notification permission on first launch. If you declined, you can enable them anytime: go to your iPhone's Settings > Notifications > Discretion Underground > toggle Allow Notifications on.
Yes. The app caches menus, events, hours, and other content for offline viewing. When you're back online, it automatically refreshes with the latest data from the server.
Tap on any cocktail to view its details, then tap the heart icon to add it to your favorites. You can view all your favorites using the "Favorites" filter chip in the Cocktail Browser.
